Zagreus, Hand-Made Pamid 2023

The team at Zagreus have been producing authentic Bulgarian wines since 1998. Grown on some of the country's best soil in the Lower Thracian Valley, known for it's cinnamon-red colour, they are now fully certified as organic and make some of the country's best wines. Hand-Made Pamid 2023 is taken from 100% organically farmed Pamid vines. Known as Bulgaria's answer to Pinot Noir, it is a deliciously light, refreshing red bursting with notes of red cherries, raspberry and a subtle herbaceous edge. The palate is super fruity which is combined with a bright acidity and low tannin, which makes this one of our more favourite wines to chill; and at a minuscule 508 bottles made, it really is a hidden gem.
